First day is always the toughest

I don’t go to the gym that much anymore. I try to run around and get my cardio in at least. Even that is tough sometimes with my road schedule. I had lofty goals joining the gym. I figured if I worked hard enough I would gain some weight and muscle mass, but it never seemed to happen. I could feel myself getting stronger and I could lift more weights but nothing physically would be different. The last day I was there, this big muscly guy came up and was like “Hey man, keep it up, first day is always the toughest.” I was like “WTF. I’ve been coming here for like a year!”
